Chinese military strategist Fu Zuoyi was born

Fu Zuoyi, formerly known as Fu Lianzhang, was born on September 18, 1900 in Changde County, Hunan Province, China, into a peasant family. He is one of the famous military strategists and anti Japanese generals in modern Chinese history. Fu Zuoyi participated in the Northern Expedition in his youth, and later joined the CPC and actively participated in the Anti Japanese War. He formed and commanded an anti Japanese guerrilla force during the War of Resistance Against Japan, and fought against the Japanese army multiple times. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, Fu Zuoyi served as a senior military commander of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and participated in the Liberation War and the Korean War. Fu Zuoyi is known as a Chinese military strategist for his outstanding military talents and contributions. Fu Zuoyi was appointed as the First Vice Chairman of the National Defense Commission of the People's Republic of China in 1950, but was arrested and executed in 1954 on suspicion of treason.
